 "summary": "A sleek modern Fufu resort in Nara with in-room open-air onsen even in the base rooms, and a restaurant set in a historic tea-house garden a shuttled five-minute walk downhill. Two member stays in late 2025 loved it outright, and one guest's five-out-of-five verdict put it among the top Fufu hotels, just below Nikko, on the strength of its service. KI-NRT has never reviewed a stay here and calls it hotel-like and corporate next to Tsukihitei's intimacy, so expect polish and comfort over old-Japan atmosphere.",

   "text": "Dinner is kaiseki one night and teppanyaki the next, and OWHKG2016 found both equally delicious and everything of a very high standard, though he prefers the food (and the decor) at Fufu Nikko slightly. Bristom called the food very good and liked finding his name printed at the top of the menu."

   "text": "Even the lowest-category rooms have their own open-air onsen tub off the bathroom, free-flowing and looking into bamboo forest, and both recent guests singled it out: Bristom for the view and easy access from the bathroom, OWHKG2016 because the outdoor bath was great. Neither has written about any shared bath."

   "text": "Staff come out to meet arriving cars and park them, and when OWHKG2016's party of six arrived they checked which bags went to which room, so the luggage was already in place after a private check-in in the bar area. A chauffeured Alphard runs to the restaurant, with umbrella escorts in the rain. He called Miss Lin one of the best hotel staff he has ever had, and when he left his key in the car a clerk ran out in the rain to fetch it."

   "text": "Modern, spacious suites with huge beds, and Bristom had the best sleep of his trip in one of the lowest-level rooms, which he still found nice. OWHKG2016's group took the lowest-category stylish suites (104 to 106), each with a different design and a sitting room that seats six adults comfortably, and his advice is that any room here is fine because there is no bad room to be had."

   "text": "A big, spread-out modern property in Nara, where the restaurant is a five-minute garden walk downhill from the rooms (slippery in rain in geta and socks) inside a historic garden with a very nice tea house, which OWHKG2016 recommends touring if it is open. KI-NRT calls it sleek and new but hotel-like and corporate, without Tsukihitei's intimacy, and notes that luxury travellers to Nara are not spoiled for choice."
